Sanctuary Santa Fe had been in business for over 15 years in the beautiful town of Santa Fe, but with no website! I know, I can’t believe it either. Luckily Ritama Design came to the rescue and created a site that gives the visitor a sense of the peace and calm they will encounter when they get a treatment done at Sanctuary.
For the pallet of the “splash” landing page, I combined the adobe red of Santa Fe with a beautiful image of a portal and aster flowers that ushers the viewer into Sanctuary where they can learn more about some of the best facial and massage treatments available in this historic “destination” town.
The interior pages have a “paper” texture for the content of site, because it warms it up, and then, once again, the adobe red for the background.
I’m talking a lot about design because if you go to a website and have an instant positive emotional response, like feeling happiness or peacefulness or excitement, you have probably been affected by the design of that site.
So think about it – when your viewer associates your site with a positive feeling, they feel good about what is being offered on that site and probably will want to find out more. It’s pretty simple. Design is important!
Kerstyn Porsch, the owner, was thrilled with the site and felt it captured the unique specialness of Santa Fe and the work that she does.
Kerstyn can now update the site content herself, announce specials in the sidebar and she can post blogs about articles of interest for her clients regarding massages and facials. Being a long time resident of Santa Fe, Kerstyn also posts pecial tips and secrets about the best places to visit in Santa Fe and the surrounding area.
The next time you are in Santa Fe, or if you are a local, be sure to book an appointment with Sanctuary Santa Fe and treat yourself to a wonderful experience!
